The chalet we stayed in was absolutely adorable and had a stunning view of the mountains. It was tidy and well-maintained, and we loved having a full kitchen and a private hot tub on our own deck. The location of the chalet was perfect, offering a peaceful and secluded feeling while still being close to various parks and attractions in the area. We also enjoyed the opportunity to see wildlife, with deer grazing near the chalet before we left.
One small downside was that the chalet had a downstairs apartment that was rented out separately, which affected our privacy. We experienced some unwanted attention from the guests staying below us, which was uncomfortable, especially for our teenage daughter.

Beautiful Chalets and Really good Service
We recently had our wedding reception at Cedar House and stayed in the Cedar Chalet. Upon arrival, we were kinda surprised by the spaciousness and cleanliness of the chalet. The private hot tub outside was a fantastic bonus! Our guests also loved their accommodations in the Green Chalet and Garden Chalet. The grounds were well-maintained and picturesque. The restaurant was really good, with delicious food and a friendly staff. Darren and Alexis, as well as the rest of the team, took great care of us and paid attention to every detail. We highly recommend Cedar House Chalets and the restaurant for any occasion!

The location of the hotel is convenient, being just a short drive from town and close to Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. the chalets offer incredible mountain views, and the property is well-maintained, with spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated cottages.
The hiking trails could be better signed or have a new map, as it was difficult to find certain trails like the rockabout loop and the waterfall trail.

The chalet was well-equipped with amenities, including a private hot tub and a BBQ grill. the location was quiet and relaxing. the restaurant served delicious food, with a particular highlight being the risotto with prawn.
I missed having a hairdryer in the chalet, and the cleanliness of the dishes and cutlery could have been better when we arrived.

From the beautifully landscaped hotel to the on-site hiking trails, there was never a dull moment. We were thrilled to find out that two of the chalets were pet friendly, as our dog had a blast too. The staff was accommodating and cute, making us feel right at home. The chalet itself was spacious, well-appointed, and had all the modern conveniences we could ask for. We enjoyed exploring the walking trails and soaking in the picturesque view from the hot tub on the deck.
While we had a great stay, there were a few minor drawbacks. The lack of blinds or shutters on the east-facing windows made the chalet quite hot during the day, forcing us to sleep downstairs instead of in the master bedroom upstairs.

Guests can enjoy a private hot tub on their deck, providing the perfect way to relax after a long day. the chalets are clean, well-maintained, and offer a sense of luxury with their fully equipped kitchens and comfortable beds.
One aspect that could be improved is the noise level, as the hotel is situated close to the highway, which might cause some disturbance for light sleepers.
